Domestic RHI increase April 2017

From April 1, 2017, Ofgem has increased the unit payment for the Domestic RHI in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Tariffs have increased as follows:
• from 7.51p per kWh to 7.63p per kWh for air source heat pumps
• from 19.33p per kWh to 19.64p per kWh for ground source heat pumps

Customers who currently receive the Domestic RHI for their ground and air source heat pump installations will not need to do anything to benefit from the change. Payments will be adjusted automatically.

If you’d like to find out more about the RHI and see how much you could save by switching to ground or air source for your heating and hot water, use our quick and easy RHI calculator.
