Finn Geotherm backs local bear festival

Attleborough-based renewable heating experts Finn Geotherm, is delighted to be supporting this year’s Great Ellingham Teddy Bear Festival.

Now in its twelfth year, the Great Ellingham Teddy Festival is a fortnight filled with fun and community spirit in the South Norfolk village of Great Ellingham, centered around the famous Teddy Bear Trail. Residents in the village display teddy bears made mainly from straw in their gardens, using their creativity to plan, design and construct unique exhibits. These have ranged from sportsmen (Teddy Flintoff) to musicians (Ted Sheeran), TV chefs (Mary Beary) to children’s stories (Goldilocks) and from royalty (Prince George was born the day after the 2013 festival ended) to teddy-linked concepts (Zumbear).

Guy Ransom, commercial director at Finn Geotherm, said: “As a local business, we can’t bear not to support local community events such as this. Great Ellingham residents really make this a totally ted-tastic event and the vast array of amazing bears just get better and better every year. If you go down to Great Ellingham today, you’re sure of a big surprise!”

The Teddy Festival runs until Sunday 17th July.
