Heat Pump Month blog series – Why is Heat Pump Month important?

The first national Heat Pump Month is being celebrated from 17th June – 16th July 2021.

Guy Ransom, Finn Geotherm’s commercial director, explains why Heat Pump Month is so important – not only for consumers but for the heat pump industry too.

“Over the course of the past three to four years, there has been a significant development in the level of awareness of heat pump technology and the benefits of application. The opportunity for Heat Pump Month allows us to really stand back and focus on the opportunities and challenges that can be applied from what we’ve learned. It gives us an opportunity to galvanise decision makers into starting to make the longer term strategic decisions we need for the heat pump industry to grow and be invested in, in order to meet the challenge posed by the climate emergency and the desperate need to transition to low carbon heating.”
