Shortlisted! Heating and passive cooling project is a finalist in RAC Cooling Awards

We are delighted to announce our heating and passive cooling project at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village has been shortlisted in the RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2021.

Established in 2004, the RAC Cooling Awards were founded to highlight the environmental progress of the industry and to recognise all forms of best practice and achievement from projects across the UK.

We have been shortlisted in the Building Energy Project of the Year category for our innovative project at West Stow, which saw us provide not only heating and hot water for the historic site using a ground source heat pump, but also passive cooling. The new system ensures a warm and welcoming environment all year round, which is perfect for visitors and also for maintaining West Stow’s precious artefacts.

Winners will be announced in October. To find out more about the West Stow project, read our case study.
