Fuel Poverty Awareness Day 2019

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day 2019

Today is Fuel Poverty Awareness Day (29th November 2019). Coordinated by National Energy Action (NEA), it is the national day to raise awareness of some of the issues faced by those living in cold homes and the solutions available.

According to NEA, around four million households in the UK are in fuel poverty, unable to afford the energy they need to stay warm and safe at home.

As the renewable heating experts, Finn Geotherm is delighted to be working with organisations such as Flagship Group housing association and Gasway to reduce the cost of living for people in social housing. District heating schemes such as those we have completed at Orchard Close and Quayside Court, have cut heating bills by up to 56% and created homes that residents can enjoy living in.
