Jaga – Kriekels House

The Challenge

In 2024, Jaga’s founding family opened a new, state of the art building, housing their UK offices, warehouse, training and demo space, and showroom. We were invited to provide a concept design for the heating, cooling, and domestic hot water for the building via the use of both ground and air source heat pump technology.

The Expert Solution & Result

We specified and installed a Stiebel Eltron 15kW ground source heat pump, combined with 4no. Panasonic 16KW T-CAP air source heat pumps to meet the peak heating, cooling, and domestic hot water requirements of Kriekels House.

The system was designed to allow Jaga to showcase their products delivering both heating and cooling simultaneously, in various areas of the building.

We worked closely with Jaga, alongside the main contractor – Collins Design & Build throughout the build process to ensure that all elements of the heat pump system installation were coordinated seamlessly.

This included 800m of horizontal ground collector, the delivery of the heat pump equipment, and the intricate plant room installation works – ensuring that ultimately, the plant room was capable of being a showpiece for Jaga’s clients to view from behind the glass screen.

We were delighted to be involved in this project from the outset. Early-stage involvement enabled us to understand the client-requirements from the outset and specify a system that could achieve these deliverables.

This was a particularly meaningful project to us – not only due to our long-standing working relationship with Jaga, but it also enabled us the opportunity to showcase our expertise via the use of both ground source and air source heat pump technology, delivering heating, cooling, and domestic hot water.
