Air source fitted from new at contemporary coastal bungalow

contemporary bungalow on the Suffolk Coast is enjoying the benefits of modern renewable heating, thanks to an air source heat pump installed by Finn Geotherm.

Having been built in 2017, the two-bedroom bungalow was fitted with a Panasonic air source heat pump from new by Finn Geotherm. Today, the property is home to a retired couple, who purchased it in 2019.

The homeowners explain:

“The air source heat pump was already installed when we moved in and we just carried on with the servicing agreement already in place with Finn Geotherm. Getting to grips with the new heating system was quite easy and we’ve been enjoying a warm home, right from day one.”

The bungalow features underfloor heating and high levels of insulation, making the heat pump very energy efficient.

They add: “Our heat pump is cost effective to run and does a great job in providing our heating and hot water. It’s not a heating system we’ve had in our homes in the past but, having lived here for five years, we wouldn’t want to be without it now.”

CO2 savings:Since its installation in 2017, the heat pump has saved approximately 13.82 tonnes of CO2.
